Hear our prestigious speakers at the Montreal Boat Show

As usual, the Montreal Boat and water sports show will host conferences focused on the themes of boating. Among the big names expected, Patrick Campeau, George Leblanc and Damian Foxall will present to the public their adventures and also give advices on boating. Also present for the first time, students from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) will unveil their plan to build a catamaran Class-C that will participate in the next World Cup next September in Geneva.

PROJECT CLASS-C
 

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

This project is the initiative of a professor of the ETS, Simon, and an engineer, Julien. The latter having already participated in two World Championship Class-C with invictus.
 
Quickly qualified  "the small cup of américa", this competition is held every 2 years and is now known as the "LITTLECUP". The next edition will be held in Geneva, and is organized by Hydros, known worldwide thanks to the performances of the hydrofoil.

PATRICK CAMPEAU

THE ULTIMATE REFERENCE

Patrick Campeau, the reference in the field of fisheries, inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame last year, will share his tips, tricks and knowledge on all equipment that can be grafted to a boat used to capture beautiful specimens. This champion crowned three times, will make interactive presentations, during which the audience will find the answers to their questions. To make this even more interesting, Patrick will present awards to the people of the assistance that answer some questions regarding his seminars.

In the current context of global warming, the summer, the Arctic Ocean north of Canada's coastline begins to release some more winter ice. This allowed Claire Roberge and Guy Lavoie, who travel the world aboard their sailboat Balthazar for 15 years, to venture into inaccessible regions and meet northern peoples.

VOLVO OCEAN RACE

Follow the action and drama of the 2014-15 Volvo Ocean race “LIVE” at the Montreal Boat Show with Ocean Racer and winner of 4 Round the world races - Damian Foxall.

 

As Recreation Education manager for the Canadian Wildlife Federation, Damian promotes and inspires conservation awareness for all of us, as we get outdoors and connect to our amazing waters whilst also playing our role as nature`s stewards.
